Texmark Severe Weather Update 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 17, 2018

According to local traffic and emergency officials, many roads and bridges are still impacted or closed due to the freezing conditions in the Houston area.  Difficult roadway conditions will persist until at least noon Wednesday and many local public and private schools will remain closed as well.

Operations and Maintenance Teams are focused on safety within the plant.  Currently, all loading operations remain down due to ice on the loading racks.

Employees who are scheduled to report to Texmark on Wednesday days evenings or nights should take the following steps to ensure your safety and that of your family –

  1. Only those employees who have been contacted by their department manager or supervisor and requested to come to the plant to help restart operations should attempt to travel to Texmark. All other employees should stay safely at home.2. Those employees who have been requested to come to Texmark should evaluate the weather and road conditions before attempting to travel to the plant.  Please coordinate with your departmental manager so that we know when, or if, to expect your arrival and to take appropriate measures for your safety if you fail to make it to the plant.

    3. Monitor conditions throughout the day and watch your Texmark email and text messages for further updates.

    4.   Notify any visitors, contractors, or others who were planning to come to the plant on Wednesday.

Additional updates will be sent via email to All Texmark as well as via text message on Wednesday evening.

Thanks to the entire Texmark team for an outstanding response.

If you have any questions, please contact your department manager.
